Folks please welcome NEW OLF Sponsors Hampton Brothers Guitars!

IF you are not aware of them, PLEASE click their link and check out their amazing
selection of tonewoods!

I asked Matt of give me a little history of the business so that I could share with you.

"The Hampton Brothers spend their full work week searching for the absolute 'best' tonewoods available to craftsmen. Under loose guidance from good friend and fellow OLF’r, John Arnold, the two young men hunt for lumber each day and accept only outstanding pieces of wood to process in the interest of what they believe to be woodworking's highest calling--stringed instrument making. Depending on the mood at their shop in East Tennessee, a wide range of lutherie supplies including Back & Side Sets, Soundboards, Raw Bracewood, Bridge/Fingerboard Blanks, Neck Blanks, Peghead veneers, Neck/Tail Blocks, Kerfed Linings and Bridge Plates can be found in stock. They even take orders for Custom CNC Inlay work! Don't hesitate to PM Matt and Nathan with any inquiries or requests. You'll often find that curiosity pays well with these two..."

Again, please take a moment to say hey!
Welcome aboard guys!

Matt and Nate - Welcome, it's great to have you as sponsors!

For those of you that don't know these guys they're the real deal. They sell really nice wood at good prices. I've got several back/side sets and some really stiff red spruce tops from them. I also got a bunch of split brace wood that I've been using this year. It's all good stuff [:Y:] [:Y:]

If you use Red Spruce, buy Hampton's wood before they run out of the good stuff!

I almost forgot!

Anyone who mentions the OLF when checking out through eBay will get a 10% final value discount.
I'll offer a 15% discount from eBay prices to those who choose to deal with us directly (avoiding eBay fees). I don't mind ending auctions early for forum members.

Thanks again for your support,

Matt

I highly recommend these guys. I was introduced to the Hampton's about a year ago at an East TN luthiers meeting. Since then I have been fortunate enough to pall around with them and learn a thing or two about spruce! I was just up to pay these guys a visit, and will be returning very soon. Nathan and Matt are great guys to work and do business with.

The mahogany that they currently have in stock is really nice 25+ year old hondo. Mainly neck blanks, but Nate showed me a back and side set that looked just like old Martin wood.

If you need wood, get in touch with these guys.

I've only done business with Nathan once, but the service was exceptional. [:Y:]
